Hello and welcome to my communications hub! Here, you will find some of my work surrounding science, health, politics, and society, with a mix of art and some fun little comics.
My education in Biomedical Communications at the University of Toronto blends research, bioscientific visualization, and design to create compelling media that communicates science more effectively and more broadly. The tools I use include Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Maya, Blender, and the good ol' pencil and paper.

During my time at Visions of Science, my roles included being the Wheel of STEM host. Participants of different ages and from different communities in the Greater Toronto Area put their scientific knowledge to the test. Can you guess the answers to the questions?

My passion for making science accessible stemmed from the large health inequality that exists globally, particularly in my home country, Peru. My research has focused on shining light on underserved communities, inevitably mixing science and politics. My commitment to exploring the social component of science was awarded by the Laidlaw Research Scholarship, which fully funded my research on a neglected tropical disease, Carrion's Disease. Here, I exposed the lack of governmental initiative to promote health education amongst Peruvians.
Sometimes my work is just the reflection of my feelings and life experiences. From oils to digital illustrations and animation, curiosity is what drives me.
